Mediterranean summer at 34 Mayfair
34 Mayfair takes guests on an imaginary journey to the sun-drenched isles of the Mediterranean south this summer. The restaurant, in honour of its spiritual Côte d’Azur sibling, is recast as a glamorous sun-drenched paradise. A place where fields hazy with purple lavender stretch out to meet shores lapped by crystal seas; blue delphiniums lean over whitewashed walls and sculptural cacti and agaves line the bright boulevards where elegant islanders stroll. Mediterranean summer at 34 Mayfair where long lunches drift into cocktails at sunset and al-fresco dinners erupt into spontaneous parties.
Echoing the colours of the floral terrace display, white-linen-suited doormen in panama hats and hostesses in vintage purple dresses welcome guests to their tables. On Sundays, restaurant is filled with the sounds of summer, as our jazz band, dapper in white tuxedos, enlivens the evenings with a musical soundtrack.
A blushing trio of Côtes de Provence rosés, served by the glass or carafe, are the very essence of those endless summer days, when time slows down and nothing but the pursuit of pleasure lies ahead. To really get into the spirit, choose one of our limited-edition Mirabeau Dry Gin cocktails. Made on a wine estate near Saint-Tropez, the pretty pink gin blends fresh citrus with a kick of wild bay, rosemary and thyme: the holy trinity of Provençal botanicals. Divine summer drinking and dreaming.
